After seeing the success of the Bottom’s Rest bar refit, Bison Beer approached us to take the empty shell of their East Street shop and turn it into something really special. The brief revolved around a West Pier, natural and beach friendly concept, with splashes of industrial style for flavour.
We took this brief and ran with it as far as possible; sourcing wood from the actual West Pier that was destroyed in both storms and fire. This wood became the centre piece; a pier themed bench with a special inscription for the owners.
The rest of the shop included a portable pallet wood counter, scaffold board and jute rope shelving, cladding of the fridges, a reclaimed wood sliding door and a huge pallet wood feature wall.
Hopefully the photos speak for themselves when it comes to the success of this project.
